LGV/ADR Driver - Client Information

Many of the LGV Fuels Delivery Tanker drivers employed directly by Apex Support are former major oil company employees and therefore have considerable experience in the delivery of all types of fuels to retail, commercial and domestic customers.

They have extensive knowledge of many vehicle types and their ancillary equipment and have received vocational training to the highest major oil company standards and oil industry "Best Practice" methods with regard to safety, emergency procedures, differing terminals/depots loading procedures and customer care.

These drivers are genuinely self-managing, and have also received instruction in the use of many new technological advances such as:

• Driver controlled delivery modules.
• Electronic metering equipment.
• Engine management systems.
• Satellite based - Order reconciliation equipment.
• Tanker "Sealed parcel" delivery systems

Many of the LGV/ADR drivers have attended other training courses such as:

• Practical Fire Fighting and First Aid.
• Vapour Recovery – Operation and Equipment use.
• Vehicle "Roll-Over" Prevention.

Classroom Based Training

We can provide classroom based LGV/ADR Fuels Delivery Tanker Driver induction sessions for new entrants/recruits to the oil sector, to enable them to gain "Theoretic" knowledge of the oil industry, with regard to  “Best Practice” methods of petroleum deliveries procedures, for both Mainfleet and STW operations.

Practical "Hands on" Training

Thereafter we can provide any client with a full and comprehensive practical training programme prior to and including the customary LGV/ADR fuels delivery tanker driver assessment.

Training records

We also provide the respective client with a copy of the relevant training records for the courses or training sessions that each LGV/ADR fuels delivery tanker driver, who we provide, has undergone.
