Introduction

Although there is a general consensus of opinion within the oil industry that admixtures (Crossovers) should not occur, especially with regard to petroleum spirit deliveries to retail filling stations, incidents do happen and swift action is required to rectify what could culminate with dangerous situations being created, and have extremely costly repercussions. 

Recovering admixtures or transferring products within the STW Domestic delivery network of operations is generally more prevalent although none the less serious than its larger retail and commercial bulk fuels delivery counterpart. Indeed, many of the problems associated with domestic fuels deliveries, have a significantly more serious impact and damaging effect on the environment.

At Apex Support we understand these potential risks, our operators attend safety training courses and receive regular operational/safety refresher training. Apex Support Services Limited is also an APEA member

Apex Support operate a 24 hour call out service predominantly for its oil industry clients, with regard to motor spirit or distillate uplifts, or tank transfers at petrol filling stations and other retail, commercial, and domestic premises.

Apex Support has the operational expertise and experience built up over 30 years of STW and Mainfleet operations, “Hands On” experience coupled with senior managerial know how. The equipment we own and operate conforms to the latest ATEX regulations and EC Directives and Amendments and is operated by trained and experienced oil industry personnel only.

Modifications or improvements of some of the equipment we use to comply with  the relevant HSSEQ policies of major oil companies to allow operations within high-risk refinery and terminal areas have been undertaken.

Operational Equipment Information

All of the technical equipment that Apex Support own and operate has been inspected by a number of Major Oil companies and approved for operations at Oil Storage Terminals/Depots and on Petroleum Filling Station Forecourts.

The technical equipment is operated by trained and experienced personnel only.
